Tawakkul Real Estate Investment Trust is a Canadian real estate investment trust established under the laws of Ontario. It is managed by Ahmed Asset Management Inc. and offered through Drake Financial Ltd., a registered exempt market dealer.
The structure, plainly
The TrustHolds the investments. Established under Ontario law. Assets are held by an independent trustee, not by the manager.
The Asset ManagerAhmed Asset Management Inc. makes investment decisions and runs the Trust's operations. It can be replaced by a vote of unitholders.
The DealerDrake Financial Ltd., a registered exempt market dealer, assesses suitability and decides on every subscription. We do not.
The TrusteeTSX Trust Company holds the assets and receives subscription funds. This is the separation that protects you if the manager fails.
