An application takes ten to fifteen minutes and asks for figures most people have to go and look up. An account means you can stop, find them, and carry on from any device.
Your holdings
Statements and tax slips come from the plan trustee.
Once units are issued, your unit count and tax slips come from Pinnacle Fund Administrators, and your registered plan from Olympia Trust. Not from us. That separation is the point.
Do I need an account to invest?
No. You can complete an application without one — it will simply live in the browser you started it in. An account means you can change device, or come back next week.
What is stored?
Your saved answers, encrypted, and nothing else. If you have submitted a subscription, the account also shows you its reference and where it has reached.
Is my SIN safe in a saved application?
It is encrypted at rest with the same key and the same method as a submitted file. A half-finished application still contains a SIN, and it is treated that way.
Can I delete it?
Yes. Ask and it goes, along with any saved answers. A submitted subscription is a client record the dealer is required to retain, and that part cannot be deleted — we will tell you exactly what stays and why.
