What we collect, and what we do not.
Short version: the site works without collecting anything about you. Measurement only happens if you agree to it, and you are asked before it starts.
Tracking on this site
Canadian law is not uniform here and we apply the strictest rule to everyone. Quebec's Law 25 requires your consent before non-essential tracking technology is used on your device, and PIPEDA requires meaningful consent for collecting personal information. Quebec is one of the provinces this offering is available in, so that is the standard the whole site is built to.
In practice: no analytics, advertising or marketing script loads until you press Agree. Choose "only what is essential" and none of them ever runs. There is nothing to opt out of afterwards because nothing started.
Always, without asking
- Your appearance preference — light or dark — kept in your own browser
- Your progress through an application, so you can come back to it, kept on your own device and never sent anywhere until you submit
- Your consent choice itself, so we stop asking
Only if you agree
- Google Analytics — which pages are read, and for how long
- Meta and Google advertising pixels — whether an advertisement led to a visit
- HubSpot — connecting a form you submit to how you arrived
If you give us your details
Name, email, telephone and what you told us about your situation go to Tawakkul and to Drake Financial Ltd., the registered dealer who would handle any subscription. They are used to answer you and to administer an application, and they are not sold or rented to anybody.
If you complete a subscription, the information you provide is held by the dealer as a client record. Regulation requires that record to be retained for a period after the relationship ends, so a deletion request cannot always remove everything — we will tell you what can be removed and what must be kept, and why.
Marketing email is separate and always optional. Under CASL we only send it if you asked for it, every message carries an unsubscribe link, and one click is enough.
If you book a meeting
The calendar on our booking page is operated by HubSpot, which is also our customer-record system. Opening that page loads HubSpot's scheduler, which sets its own cookies and can see that you visited it. If you go on to book, the name, email address and any note you write are held by HubSpot as well as by us.
HubSpot is an American company and processes this information in the United States, which means it is subject to the laws of that country. We are telling you before you use it, which is what the last paragraph of this page promises. Everything else — your application, your documents, the dealer's client record — stays in Canada.
If you would rather not use it, telephone, WhatsApp and email reach exactly the same people, and all three are listed on the same page.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted where we are not required to keep it, and withdraw a consent you gave earlier. Write to contact@ahmed.group and a person, not a form, will answer.
Your application, the documents you upload and the dealer's client record are held in Canada. The one exception is the meeting scheduler described above, which is American; where any other service provider outside Canada is used for anything material, this page will say so before it happens.
